Default Gun Magazine Q&A

Ran across this in my picture album, it brings a smile on my face every time. Be careful what you ask in a gun magazine, you might get quality (and totally misleading) information back...

So that's what all those crazy dash numbers mean. Gosh all mighty, I learn something new every day!

I remember reading that and thinking, "And they pay that guy to write this stuff??!!"

If his information was correct, the current Military & Police revolvers would be Model 10-38,461's!

Note that the original question was about the Model of 1989, and the answer notes the Model of 1988 with bogus information....

Got to love it.

You are right Buff, with a popular gun like the Model 10, just think of what that pesky dash number would be now... !

Yea Rob, I noticed that too, but the dash "enlightenment" was even more bizarre. And these guys get paid too!
