Question Tula .223

I have a really good stock of Tula .223 55gr. & few 62 & 75gr.
I'm buying my own reload equipment & need a few extra dollars to complete my set-up.

My question is would you sell the Tula to get the $ or just save a bit more & keep the ammo? Also if I sell should I do so to make a profit? I'm not saying $13-19 box like I've seen some charging, but try & make some sort of profit...

Just curious on others opinions.

I most likely keep the ammo because reloading supply's special primers are a pretty rare right now. I would hold on to the Tula and just save a bit more and wait for stocks to replenish.

One way to look at it is you own the Tula and ammo and its already loaded. Right now your trying to complete a setup for ammo you hope to make in the future.

Good point. I do have a nice supply of various branded .223 brass also loaded....You are correct components are scarce right now. Been loading at a friends & my components are getting low, except for brass which I have nice pile of.

Maybe I should just wait, I'd like to complete my set-up but I can wait.

What do you need to complete your reloading equipment? Did you look into the used market? Good used equipment is available on this forum's Classifieds forums. (and some online auctions) It's possible you can buy what you need without selling other stuff you might need. (like ammo)

Yeah I probably could, but since I started reloading at a buddies house I hardly shoot the steel any more. I could sell a case or two & still have some left of steel. Also have a decent amount of brass.

Maybe it's a bad idea...Just throwing the question out looking for opinions.
