Just got a text from my wife

Just got a text from my wife. She was at walmart early this morning and behold .22 ammo was in. She got me three bricks! Talk about a good Fourth of July!

Holidays are good for ammo because the trucks do not come at the normal times.

On my regular trips to Walmart for groceries, I always check the shelves, and hadn't seen a single box of .22s since the beginning of 2013 -until last Friday evening, when I caught a clerk opening boxes of ammo they had just received. I said to her, "Still no .22s, are there." She said, "Yes, I have some." She then proceeded to open a case of Winchester bulk paks.

I don't know if they are quality rounds or not, but I bought a box, primarily for my brother, who ran out some time ago(I already am pretty well stocked).

I don't know how long the case lasted.

Here in the north-land, WALLYWORLD limit is 2 50round box's per person per day.
That is if you can EVER find any on the shelves!

the wife of RussellD.

I nominate my wife for runner up. When a local vendor had some ,22 LR in stock she picked some up for me even though it was out of her way to do so. They had a two box limit but displaying the superior female intellect she picked up two of the 100 round count CCI Mini-Mag boxes versus two of the 50 round boxes.
