The Peters box dates sometime around 1960. Your box doesn't have the "child safety warning", which was required starting in 1962. Caliber?

The .30 Carbine ammo is US military production from WWII and is self-explanatory. It was made at the Evansville Ordnance facility in 1943 and was assembled with steel cases instead of brass. Brass was in short supply during the war, so the military made a good quantity of steel case .45 ACP and .30 Carbine ammo. The program had mixed success and was dropped after the war. All US .30 Carbine ammo is non-corrosive. If the box is full, it's probably worth in the neighborhood of $25-$30.
