Why do the socialist want to redistribute wealth and the cry babies who drank the liberal kool aid ...hate on those who have .22 ammo?
What ever happened to working for what you want instead of demanding your entitlement be delivered to your door? Some of you guys need to read the book "Who moved my cheese"
If you want it bad enough its out there? If your neighbor was willing to get up an hour earlier than you do to find ammo, God bless him for his motivation.
If you to want to complain about pricing.....we are talking about a hobby.... not nutrition, not housing for the elderly on fixed incomes, etc.
ATTENTION ALL WALMART SHOPPERS....DISCOUNT 22 AMMO IS NOT AN ENTITLEMENT.
Before you start crying please ask your grandfather how often he could get a box of .22 during WWII rationing. For the love of my Jack Russell Terrier get a grip.

In 2002 or 2003, I actually got to see the cartoon! As much as I hated the insulting tone, as if it were written for 5th graders, the message came through loud and clear.
None of us were guaranteed a job based on years of service, past performance, or who our Father-In-Law happened to be.
What I took from it was that one can never get complacent because the rug may be pulled out from underneath you at any time.
A disturbing, but thoughtful tale.

Neither has mine so I've relied on my local Academy and the internet.

There is a clerk at my local WM who tells me what nights ammo comes in. My problem is, it is on a first come, first served basis the next morning (tucks are unloaded overnight), and there is a line in the mornings when it arrives. Problem; I live a good fifty miles from the store, and was working early in the morning, so I didn't get there. I will bet the locals were there each and every day checking, and buying if possible. So us country boys don't get ammo much. The WM clerk tried to help me out but logistics just got in the way. Really stinks, but now I'm retired and have a chance to be in line early in the AM. But how many days do I want to make that drive with gas at it's normally low, low price!!!!
And even more important, how early do I want to get out of bed??

Now. Now. There is no reason what so ever to be so reactionary. Next thing you are going to say is you expect people to show up to work when scheduled. Sheesh.

I discovered early on that it came down to whether I wanted to continue in the hobby. I chose to continue so that meant that I had to stand in line if I wanted any kind of ammo. I have no problem with first come first served. If I don't get out of bed early enough and show up to get the ammo then that is my fault and no one elses. Just me. I'm not going to blame someone else for my own failures. That was not how I was raised.

Here, sleep in. I would start on the last page showing where ammo can be found, which is currently page 161. Most of it is mail order, so you won't even have to leave the house.
You're welcome.

I bought a pallet load of .38s and Winchester asked me if I needed and wanted .22 in LR or Magnum. I said magnum and it is on its way to our wholesale shop as I speak. I can wait for however long it takes to get .22s I will not pay those outrages prices retail shops like Walnuts is charging.
