Default Winchester White Box

I was at the local Wal-Mart this week, and as usual I went to the sporting goods department first. Yes I was looking for 22 long rifle ammo, and as usual, there were out. But as I was looking I saw the WWB in 45 acp. At first glance I thought it was the 230gr Target ammo. But this was the 230gr JHP, in 50 round boxes. Anyway this was my first time seeing this, the price was $33.57 per box. They had plenty on the shelf so I bought my 3 box limit. I have not had a chance to shoot any of this yet, so I was wondering if any of you have any experience with it. Thanks, Ray

I purchased some years ago for a bowling pin match. I ended up giving it away because my kimber would not eat it, too many fte. I gave it to my brother who used it in a Springfield trp without any issues

Not seen that but I recommend you look for this at your local Walmart.

The white box JHP is part of Winchester's self defense line. It shoots to point of aim in my 1911 and is the ammo I carry.

Thanks for all the information so far, I appreciate it. I will be shooting this in my S&W Model 625-6, a Beretta Storm and a couple of 1911's. But I will try this out before I carry it in any of my guns.
Smokindog, I have seen the tag where Wal-Mart does sell this 45 by Remington, but the 3 or 4 stores near me never have any, But thanks. Ray

Comes in all the "popular" sizes too. Like other stuff, shows up in spurts. Watch the youtube videos on its performance!

Never seen that at the local Walmart, but the Dunham's Sporting Goods store has it-at $69.99 box!
If WM ever gets that in, at that price; I'll be getting my 3 box limit!

Hi smokin, thanks for your post/photo. My Walmart has the same box at $10 higher! The 100 round white boxes of WW hardball have been approx. $35.

The WW white box JHPs seem to duplicate hardball in feel. No problems in revolvers and derringers.

If it didnt cost an arm, leg and first born to ship? I could fairly easily get what you could want--$9 bux a box cheaper.
