Choice preference on 9mm ammo
I recently bought a new M&P FS 9mm. and have tried it out.
Shot 50rds of: Federal WB RTP 115 gr.(Range Target Practice) Ammo.
It shot well but was very dirty. Next 50 rds were American Eagle 115 gr. FMJ AE9DP 147grain, FMJ.
(also from Federal).
These were very clean? The recoil was soft and the ejected cases were hitting me in the face and chest!
I went to the new T&D target rds. from Winchester, 147grain, FMJ. (Supposedly is exactly like their Self Defence HP ammo.) The recoil was a little more pronounced, but the extraction was much better,
( they were thrown hard right and bounced off the lane partitioned wall).
The accuracy was very acceptable for my old tired eyes and body!
I like this ammo best of the three and will continue to shot it as long as I can find it.
Thanks to the Forum for letting me voice my opinions!

Thanks for the tip about T&D target rds. from Winchester, 147grain, FMJ. I use PMC 115g FMJ for range rounds. Burns a tad dirty, but the price is right! I use Hornady Critical Duty 135g +P for SD.

For 9mm target practice, I like Fiocchi and Winchester White Box 115gr. Also, I have started using Freedom Munitions lately. Pretty good stuff and reasonably priced.
For .45 target rounds, I use mostly Fiocchi and American Eagle 230gr.
For SD rounds, it's Federal HST and Remington Golden Saber 230gr.
