G2R RIP Ammo
Does anyone have any first hand experience with this new ammo?

There was a previous thread on this stuff and nobody seemed to know anything. I think the general consensus was just a sales gimmick. I'm sorry I don't recall the thread title.

It's clownshoes; "gimmick" is too generous. It does not mean any objective testing standard of which I am aware.

You can see ballistic gel tests on you tube.
I'd rather carry a good rock!
Stay safe,

In there description they talk about using a the trocar point since they penetrate the dermis so efficiently , then they state that it delivered "increased" kinetic energy??? True a trocar does penetrate flesh effectively which may enhance penetration, but seems to be counter intuitive that this pointed object would deliver more energy than then a large round flat object?? Apparently they have overcome those nasty rules of physics, tissue elasticity, energy transfer. Would I try them, sure if they send them to me for free I would test them, but I would not buy an unproven design @ $50/ 20 rds, when I know the effects of many other fine rounds on the market. Maybe they have developed the mythical 1 shot stop. Be Safe,

A failure-to-stop looking for a place to happen.

I like the term "sock puppeting".
And yes, it's a widespread practice that is thoroughly sleazy and dishonest.
This whole thing is a load of pasture porridge.

It was tested in a 3" 9mm........
a .22 long rifle penetrates more !!
You are better off with a 9" knife.

I don't think this is a gimmick.
FFS Russia did a ballistic test posted online and it is impressive. The 9mm passed through four chickens.
Would I like to see Tim of tnoutdoors9 do a test? You bet I would. Until then what I am seeing online looks good.
I am thinking this could make a 380ACP an effective round right up there with the .38 or 9mm.
Most importantly, have any members used it? We are looking for objective experience and facts and not Bubba's (no offense intended) subjective opinion.
