Default Finally scored some .22LR!

I got a product arrival notification from Midway a few days ago that some CCI MiniMags were in. I successfully ordered my ration. Reasonable price. I wasn't so lucky this morning with CCI Standard Velocity (my Hi-Standard likes this stuff!). Notification recorded in at 8:32, responded at 9:05, SOLD OUT. Drat! Maybe next time!

Bummer about the standard velocity stuff. I was waiting for a guy at Sportsman's Warehouse to work a trade on Saturday. When he called to say he was running late, I wandered inside - and bought three 100 packs (they had LOTS) of CCI Mini-Mags for $7.99 each. My SR22P likes these quite a lot, so I was glad to have more to shoot up.

I've never had any luck with those product arrival notifications from Midway.
No matter how quickly I react to their notification, the product is always sold out.
Glad you were able to get better results.
It seems availability of 22lr is becoming more widespread.

I've kinda given up on the notification from Midway option. 2 weeks ago I was on my computer when the notification popped up, I hit the link immediately and signed in to Midway, tried to order and was told they were sold out. Time from notification to being told they were sold out was less than a minute. (probably less than 30 seconds). After that, I have just deleted the notifications rather than bother with the apparently pointless exercise.

Maybe keep an eye on the ammo thread in the 15-22 section. Midway had CCI SV, CCI Blazer and Fed AutoMatch in stock last week.

Cabelas has had the 525 bricks of Golden listed quite often the last 2 weeks. Thanks to the above talked about .22 in stock link I was able to get 1 for me, 1 for the wife, and 1 for the daughter last week. I shipped to store and when I went to pick the 3 up Saturday I checked the store shelf and was able to get a 4th box. All 4 were the same price $24.97 ea for the 525 brick.

I do the same now since the exact same thing has happend to me over and over again. It's a waste of time plus all I get is adds all day long. You do better following the In Stock ammo thread. There has been plenty of good priced ammo this past month.
