Original Hydra-Shok .357

Since it is raining today, went to the basement to clean/consolidate /re-arrange. Came across several boxes of Hydra-Shok that I'd forgotten about - 125gr. JHP .357 Magnum, manufactured by Hydra-Shok Corp., Watkins Glen NY, in the red box with S.D.L. and Super Defense Load on it. Hydra-Shok headstamp. Before I shoot this stuff up, does it have any collector value? I'd hate to just blow it off and find out later it's actually worth something. Anyone have any experience with it?

Yes it does have some collector value. The problem is always trying to put a decent price on it and finding someone to buy it.

There are newer Federal bullet designs out there today that work a lot better for SD ..........

Selling them is a great idea if you can find a buyer.

Sell them. Put some on GB and see where it goes.

BTW, a 125JHP would not be the original Hydra-shok design.

The originals were lead, not jacketed.
