I read several threads here that the F.M. ammo is pretty good ,clean shooting and reliable! I have 500 rounds 9mm FMJ 115 gr and 500 rounds 124 gr HP so will see hoy my Shield and Ruger SR9E like there HP and FMJ

I bought 1000 rds .45 acp this weekend. Just remmeber tp count your boxes of ammo to make sure you gotall

In case you were unaware of the change in the 9mm target ammo, the FMJ is no longer being made. It is now considered a TMJ, as it is copper plated. This is true of the 115,124, and the 147gr. as well. I am not sure of the HP's...

F.M. Ammo

I've shot over 1200 rounds of their new 9mm 124 grain ammo without any issues. Their ammo burns much cleaner than comparable ammo from Remington, Winchester, Federal and others. The accuracy is pretty good too, I've attached a couple of pics from my last trip to an indoor shooting range. Each picture is only 1 of 5 on a larger sheet of paper so the individual target is a closeup and appears larger than it actually is. I was shooting my 9mm M&P Pro. Not bad for an old man with bad eyes. I think you will enjoy their ammo too. Regards, Elliot45

I have the 9mm M&PFS. I would love to achieve results like that. I have 500 rds. of FM 124 gr. ordered and I am quite sure I will be pleased with them. I plan to shoot them in my Shield also. Thanks for posting.

martybee, thanks for the compliment, appreciate it. I think you will be happy with F.M. ammo. I really notice the difference when I clean my guns as there is far less nasty powder to remove from them. More of my shooting now revolves around my 9mm Pro and Shield due to lower price of ammo for those guns. Regards, Elliot45
 
Freedom Munitions is my go to place for ammo. I've bought quite a bit of their new and remanufactured ammo. Most of the time the new is only slightly more expensive. I've never had a single problem with any of it. They're also pretty quick with shipping.

Marty... Do you have anything against TMJ, as opposed to FMJ?

TMJ versus FMJ

I can't answer for Marty but from what I've read both the accuracy and reliability are the same and my experiences haven't shown anything different. I had been shooting Speer Lawman 124 grain TMJ until Cabela's ran out of them and then switched to F.M. new 124 grain FMJ and haven't noticed any differences. I posted a few targets using the F.M. ammo on my first post on this thread but I'll have to look to see if I have any pics of targets using the Lawman ammo. If I find any I'll try to post them. I am half way through a case of FM 124 gr. 9mm FMJ remans and they run great in both of our Shields. I am satisfied with it and will purchase again. Shipping to North Carolina was a little slow. About 2 weeks from order until received.

I would like to hear your results with the 45 ammo. Did you get the 230 gr ball? Would like to know what you plan to shoot it in and how it recoils in your gun. Afterwards, I will share my experience through my FS 1911.

I'm about 1/2 way through my order of 1,000 rounds of reman .45 FMJs.

I've been very happy with it so far. It's not something I'm going to use at a match. . . but for just range shooting/training, its been perfect. IMO Freedom is THE place to go for training ammo.

Its been pretty soft shooting, but I haven't tried it through my 1911. . . only my FNX-45.
 
I have shot thousands of rounds of Freedom Munitions 9mm, .380, and .38 SPL over the years. New and reman ammo. Great stuff. I have never had a problem.

I did. I also shot winchester. Both shot the same to me? I did get 230gr ball. I simply shot at targets jn an indoor range
