Did you check out UTube? There are several videos of the Underwood Extreme Defender 120gr. I use the Extreme Defender 120gr in my 45 Shield. I use the Underwood +P 90 go Extreme Penetrator in my 380 MP Bodyguard

Yes I did see the YouTube vids but don't know if they were testing with a short barrel weapon or not.....so I was hoping to find somebody who is using them and their opinion say as compared to some of the top selling SD ammo (Federal HST, Speer short barrel, Hornady, etc..etc..etc....)

My tests, using .380 and .40 with the Lehigh Defense Xtreme Defense rounds were very good. Underwood loads hotter, so I would expect good results there too:

I believe the guy on the Military Arms Channel used a short barreled 380 in his testing.

Comparison of 380 ball, HST HP and Underwood Extreme Penetrator and 45acp ball, Buffalo Bore JHP and Underwood Extreme Defender.

It may be the angle of your picture, but the Underwood looks a tad longer than the FMJ or JHP. That could present a problem in the Shield 45, because I find the magazines to be an extremely close fit to the FMJ rounds I've fired so far through mine. By that I mean tapping the back of the magazine on my palm seems necessary to make sure the rounds are fully seated.
They've functioned perfectly, but just seem to have an extremely tight cartridge length tolerance.
