Default Aguila shot shells

I don't hang out here much as I reload all but shot shells and 22lr but thought I'd give a thumbs up for Aguila shot shells if anybody's interested.
Bought bunch of Remington gun club #7 1/2, 1200fps for $49.90 a case. Yesterday, me and my son shot the sporting clays course and for the first time my Benelli is failing to fully cycle, leaving the lifter half way up with the round on it. I'm pissed, but think it's got to be the Remington we're shooting for the first time. The Beretta A400 is eating it up but I'm thinking it ain't got enough "umph" for the inertia drive.
Off to the club house and they had Aguila target load, #8 at 1250fps. Had to buy a case, of course! I was surprised to find "high brass" and brass plated. The hulls were nice with no white stress lines like the remington had. They even sounded different in report. The Benelli was back to its old self and cycled 100% through all 12 stations.
Back home I found the same Aguila loads for $5.29 a box from Academy sports. I'll buy Aguila again.

Aguila ammo has a bad reputation for a reason.

The 22super extra has a concerning smell...even in a stiff crosswind it smells.
Haven't noticed the smell using 9mm fmj target ammo. Both Aguila loads have run flawless in a variety of pistols. Think I'm done with the 22's, breathing that smell can't be good.
