Ammo matters
The gun: .223 Wylde 1:8 twist:
With high quality .55 gr. ball ammo -- 10 rounds at 100 yards:
Switched to the Black Hills 77 gr. match ammo:
The results, 3 rounds at 100 yards, speak for themselves:

I’ve found the same thing, except my 1:8 223 wylde barrel doesnt like 77gr projectiles. I was shooting sub MOA with Outback Ammo with 69gr Sierra Match King projectiles.

With that twist and the light 55 gr bullet........
move that target out to 200 yards and see what happens.
Have a great day.
