Where do you buy ammo online at?
I was wondering where many of you purchase your ammo online, especially defensive ammo since most places do not carry the particular defensive ammo that we are always looking for. I am specifically looking for some Speer Gold Dot short barrel 38 special 135 grn +P, #53921.
Looking for places that are great to deal with and the best deal. Thanks...

Some may shop elsewhere as sales pop up, but you would be well served with just these three. All are very good.

I LOVE Outdoor Limited (but I must admit they're local to me). Great people, great prices, huge assortment and online inventory so it's impossible to order something they don't have ready to ship.

I like SGAmmo. They usually have good prices on the 50 rd. boxs of Speer Gold Dot short barrel 38 special 135 grn +P, #53921.

Seems both OL and SGA are out of stock. When OL has it, he's $5 less per box. You can go to that item on OL's site and ask to be notified when they receive the next shipment.

SGAmmo is my preferred mail order source.
For more specific LE / SD loads, try GTDistributors at GTDist.com. Their stock changes constantly, but give them a try just the same. They are my local go-to shop.

When I need just a few boxes, I always order from Academy Sports. Prices may be a few bucks more than some other places but they have free shipping with $25.

These are the three that seem to give me the best deal when I'm ready to buy. I've looked at others but never used them. Some have confusing websites that turn me off and moving on.
The last Speer I bought was from SGAmmo.

I've bought from every place mentioned so far plus Brownells, Academy, Cabelas, Mass Ammo, and a couple of places that no longer exist. Never had a bad experience with any of them other than very slow shipping from a place that has since closed up shop. I check wikiarms for the lowest price and buy what I need/want.
Buying online really isn't cost effective for smaller than case quantities due to shipping cost. I can usually find it locally if I only want a few boxes.

Okay I'll say it - Walmart and sometimes Cabela's, Academy Sports and Midway USA. I never knew about Target Sports Thanks for sharing.

Graf & Sons has Speer 38 Special SB, though for more money than Target Sports.
Sportmen's Guide has some good deals, but I don't think that they sell any Speer Gold Dot.
I also like SG Ammo.

Start at ammoseek.com to get the lowest prices. But be sure to check shipping costs. Some places give good prices on the ammo, but charge an arm and a leg to ship.
