Found some 38 Spec Ammo.
just wondering actual value at this time. It is about a dozen boxes of Speer 125 gr +P Gold Dot HP ammo. 20 Round boxes. Fairly local so I can have a friend pick it up so no shipping costs...no tax in Mt Only Gold Dot I have shot was 9mm so not much experience with Gold Dot ammo
No pics. Closest pics I can find online anyway

I had a box or two, can't remember now. Supposedly +P. Pretty mild, chronographed at only 850 fps out of my 1&7/8" model 60. Figured I didn't need any more.

If, you try to shot that 125gr JHP Gold Dot ammo through a J frame snub nose,
put one through 4 Gallon jugs of water with a wood board, behind them,
just to see if that bullet design opens up, for you.
That ammo needs a 3 or 4" barrel to work 100% of the time, for me.
Nice find, though.

I have never seen any of that ammo for sale. I have some 9mm Gold Dots that were given to me loose no boxes. And for some reason I have some boxes of Gold Dot bullets for reloading. Thanks for the links I was thinking of buying it for either the 60-4 3 inch or my old pre 15 CM 4 inch gun...Probably the M 60 as it is an easier to carry piece for SWMBO. I have some Win 44 Sp silver tips that work well but are a good bit harder recoiling than my wife likes in the Charter Arms Target Bulldog...light gun.
