I've had two of these rounds for probably 45 years, sitting in the back of a drawer and just found it. I got them from a guy that gave them to me because I found them interesting. Fast forward to today and here it is.
This is a .32 S&W round with a headstamp with a U.S. on it. The primer is also stamped US. It looks like a standard lead RN bullet, but I couldn't say what the weight is.
Any idea what era this round would come from? Is it possibly a government round because of the US? I've never heard of the government issuing firearms chambered in .32 S&W. Thanks for the help.
