Default Ammo Incorporated Sierra Target 9mm?

I found this in a local store for $17 per 50 rounds: Ammo Incorporated 9mm loaded with Sierra Match Hollow Points in both 115 and 124 grain. On impulse, I bought one of each, for possible use in an older Browning High Power. I have some modern "mousetrap" magazines that seem to feed at least some hollowpoints better than the older mags, and thought it would be nice to have some lighter powered HP ammunition than my +P stuff.

I understand that these bullets are considered to be more "target" than "defense". Does anyone have any recent experience with these loads, in terms of accuracy and reliability?

Only shooting the ammo will tell you if it works or not, in a pistol.

One bullet that had problems in one artical that I read, was the V-Crown bullet, in being 100% reliable on functioning in all the pistols tested.

Good luck.

I have a 1980 (245PZ) vintage P35. It would not feed hollow points of any kind until I polished the feed ramp. It's easy to do (no abrasives needed) and doesn't change anything about the gun. Joe
