Lapua 9mm
Wow; it must have been really special. 9mm 123 Gr FMJ; 50 round boxed listed at $59.99. It was been discontinued a few years ago due to lack of sales; I wonder why.
Some still available in the $50.00 range and one company has them on clearance at $31.99 a box of 50. I know Lapua is good ammo but how much better can it be than S&B, Norma, Rem, Federal at half the cost.
I thought about getting a box at 31.99 but I am just too frugal to buy one box when I can get two of another brand.

Yes; their brass is second to none. When I reloaded it was considered one of the best. I no longer reload so I just can't see paying that price for FMJ range ammo.

I know Lapua brand .22 rimfire match ammo is considered by many to be among the best in the world for precision and accuracy. It is also some of the most expensive .22 ammo on the market - Over $20.00 a box of 50. Same can be said for some of their centerfire rifle match ammo. How well that translates for their 9mm ammo out of a typical service grade pistol, I don't know, but I would look elsewhere for 9mm ammo unless maybe you are shooting a real match grade pistol in competition - then I might try it.

Better be self-reloading at that price.
