The issues I have had with the squibs with the Armscore 38 special ammo has been pretty well covered here. I want to put a lid on the subject with what has transpired since I first posted. After my first post, under the guidance of Lou on the forum here, I reached out to Armscore support and received a timely response with offers to make things right. After my 3rd squib, I think they were dumbfounded and were in total shock and dismay. Lou reached out to me and offered his first born, if necessary, to make things right. What it finally comes down to is, no matter what you may think of Armscore products, I firmly believe, they are good people and truly have the customers safety in the top of their minds. Things happen out there and what separates the good companies from the not so good is how they react. Armscore does a great job in that regard. Lou has assured me that they have found the problem and everything is being done to rectify the issue. Oh,,, and Lou is a big Kahuna at Armscore and answers his own phone.

Thanks for the update, it's nice to see that the were very prompt and serious about the issue. What ended up being the problem?

It was some type of assembly issue which I would defer to Armscore to clearly explain.

Darren Newsom runs or ran Armscor Cartridge Inc . Not sure about today as my armscor purchase's where from his Ammo and More buisness and his American Quality Ammunition line in 22mag . He started BVAC before Armscor made a deal with him . Ammo production is in Stevensville Mt and in Nevada . They use to producee brass for one or two big name ammo companies also .

Howdy folks

Darren is President of ACI (Armscor Cartridge) in Montana, which is 1 of 2 Armscor ammo manufacturing facilities, the other is in Manila, Philippines. Much of ACI's component brass and bullets are made in Manila and shipped to Montana where they are loaded. ACI also uses brass and bullets from other manufactures, e.g., Starline, Hornady, etc.

Armscor USA - Montana
Armscor Precision - Philippines.

API (Armscor Precision International) and Armscor.com (Armscor's online store), are located in Pahrump. NV. Like ACI, API and Armscor.com are subsidiaries of AGDI (Armscor Global Defense International). API is not a manufacture but is Armscor's service center and distributor of Rock Island firearms and Armscor Ammunition for the USA, Europe, Central and South America. Armscor recently added another firearms manufacturing facility in Cedar City, Utah, RIA-USA. They currently produce some of our defense shotguns and the new and innovative 5.0E.

Regarding the abovementioned squibs: Changes have been made to the manufacturing process to correct inconsistencies specific to the 158 grain 38 spl. Production should resume soon. :)
