Not the 38, but I bought a bunch of the 147grn 9mm and I'm pretty impressed. It appears to be Ranger T (LE Only) ammo with a bonded design. All my 9mms ate it up like candy. WOuld have bought some .38 but I have a large supply of "Safe Stop".

I've only shot one into water jugs so far. It did very well. I typically use Remington Golden Sabers (.40, .357 and .38) but thus far, the PDX1 expanded just every so slightly more than the RGS. I had done many tests, and am no 100% convinced it is better than the RGS in .38, but so far it is. I plan more tests. In .40, the RGS still won out slightly. Of course, they don't have a .357 for this round, but I may try the .38 in it since I have a 4" barrel (instead of a 1 7/8" .38). If you want more info, exact details, photos...just let me know. B

Thanks for the response. Looks like really decent expansion. That .45 slug looks especially impressive !

I just tried some of the 38+p
in a snub. It expanded nicely and
was very controllable. Looks like
some of the best stuff on the market.
