.38 Sp laser bore sighter is easy to find, couple of different types (picture) - I ordered for S&W 66-8 4.25" for DA dry shooting practice.
Meanwhile I could not find if any exists for .32 ACP to do the same with Walther PP - .32 ACP ammo production is sluggish enough.

Where exactly does this laser bore sighter get planted in the revolver? Does it go in the barrel or the cylinder? If it goes in the barrel, then it would be a great dry fire aid, I would think.

Bore sighter lasers go into thew drum (picture1) and "shine" through the bore - you could use variable laser receivers mimicking target from simple to sophisticated (with score count) or even tablet/cellphone. Bore bullet sighter is much more "physiological" then some boxy external laser attachment. Cheaper too.

I bought just 2 and fill 4 slots by usual snap caps, making DA laser target Russian roulette style. Won't hurt, maybe even better for training than having all 6 laser sighters.

But could not find .32 ACP.

Portable Laser Trainer Target Dry Fire Laser Training System - one of types Pic 2.
