I read that its ok to shoot 32 H&R in a revolver chambered for 327 Federal. Is this correct? Any reduction in accuracy or other issues?
Thanks for the help. I'm looking for a second 32 HR revolver for my old arthritic hands.

It is perfectly safe. You can also shoot .32 S&W, .32 S&W Long and you may be able to shoot .32 ACP ammo as well, as the ACP round is semi-rimmed and may headspace on the cylinder.

Shooting .32 H&R in a .327 Federal chambered revolver is like shooting .38 special in a .357 Magnum revolver.

Awesome! This is what I was thinking as well, although I leaning heavily towards a single-six, which makes the question moot!
Thanks for the help!

Same as shooting 38 in a 357 mag, 44 spl in a 44 ma, or 32 S&W in a 32 H&R, which is what many folks do.

I do an annual qualification with my Ruger LCR .327 Magnum.
When I use 32 S&W Long I feel like I am cheating. IT is so light recoiling and accurate. 32 H&R is also soooooo useable and "friendly".

In response to your original question there is IN THEORY a minor loss of accuracy due to the increased distance "bullet jump" due to the shorter case. For almost all shooters and almost all ammunition this is a theoretical loss and not a practical one.
