I like the Don Hume holsters. I have the 715 for a couple of pistols.
Don Hume sold the company to Oklahoma Leather, which make cowboy action leather goods, and they are keeping the quality high.

Don Hume makes serviceable rigs at good prices, but I find clip-ons mostly okay for quick trips. For all day carry, a spaced loop rig with a little wider holster area is a bit more comfortable...they are also more concealable due to the fact that there is no attachment point directly over the weapon to make it bulkier in your pants...the Don Hume also is one piece of leather folded over...and that also makes it a bit bulkier..add to that the reinforced mouth and, well, you get the picture. The spaced loop designs are two flat pieces sewn together and much slimmer in the pants, ergo, more comfortable too.

Thanks all, I also researched the loop design by andrews leather. Fits nice and colse and flat. Appreciate the info merry christmas to all at s&w forum:)

Do any of you use a owb paddle holster? I saw one by ross leather and it's leather and has a pliable but sturdy and comfortable paddle.I was wondering if paddle holsters give enough concealment under t shirt or fla. type hawiian shirt.I
don't like the saggy pants feeling like you mentioned w taking off some iwb holsters.

Don Hume makes decent holsters, the only thing I wish is they would use a wider clip with a tab to hold onto the belt better.

I've got that holster for Ruger SP101 and for the money its hard to beat.

I have them for all of my full sized carry guns including 3" Model 65, Glock 19, Glock 22, and Browning High Power/M1911.

They're decent holsters at a very reasonable price.

I would consider them a good "starter" IWB holster to try IWB without dropping $100-200.

When I get back to work, I'm going to buy something more expensive that's designed to be "tuckable". Until then, they do quite well.

Hi:
You can't do better in design, quality, and price than "Lobo Leather." Ray is a Forum Member.

Agreed. For a little more than the Hume and a lot less than the McDaniels one of this would serve you well...I have one on order for my P2000..:)

IMHO, there is NOT a paddle holster extant that is reasonably concealable.

Be safe.

Agreed. Paddle holsters should be used at the range or worn under a jacket/vest/coat. I have yet to see one that conceals well enough under a t-shirt or button down shirt, and the paddle belt attachment is not secure enough for open carry or duty use, IMO.

If you're looking for an easy on/off OWB that still conceals well, check out a traditional pancake holster with snap belt loops, such as the Lobo Gun Leather Model 1-SL:

I ike the kd holster photos for iwb.Hard finding one for model 908 smith though.

Most places won't specifically list the 908, so look for holsters made for the 3913. However, K&D does not appear to have any of those models listed. You might contact him and see if he is willing to pick up a 39XX mold.

Lobo Gun Leather does, however, make holsters for the 3913/908. The photo I posted above is a black leather Model 1-SL snap OWB that he made for my 3913.

UBG also appears to offer holsters for the 3913.
