Guys, I feel your pain. I recently purchased a M1006 and wanted a DeSantis Thumb Break Scabbard because that's what I use for most of my other Smith's. Trying to find a non-duty style holster for a 45XX or 10XX model handgun is like entering the land that time forgot. Apparently it is no longer in-vogue to carry a large framed, double action auto. Sorry to be the one to have to break it to you! DeSantis doesn't even list that size anymore on their factory website. After some relentless internet searches, I located two different suppliers of DeSantis holsters that still stocked the 1006/4506 sized Thumb Break Scabbard (#001BA94Z0). They are Witmer Public Safety Group (
Law Enforcement professionals shop for flashlights, TASER C2 Brand, duty gear, boots, handcuffs, watches and knives at OfficerStore.com -) and New York Ironworks. I already checked for you, they do not list a separate size for the 1076, 4566, etc. Sorry again. But I think this holster would work in a pinch. Obviously you would come up a little short on the barrel end, but the thumb strap is really tight around the top of my 1006. To the point where it would seem perfect for a spurless hammer. During my research, I found Midway USA stocks the Bianchi Black Widow 5 for 10XX/45XX frame sized autos. This holster is completely open from the trigger guard down, so barrel length would not be an issue. I am not sure how loose the thumb strap would be around your spurless hammer, however. That's the best I could come with for my full-sized 10mm. I hope this helps. By the way, I did purchase my 1006 DeSantis holster from Witmer's and it arrived in about a week, no hassles. Good luck with your search.
