Hey Guys;

I've been away from the forum awhile, busy with several new projects and evaluating new products. We've added black tip reef sharkskin to our holster line for many revolver and auto holster models during the past month and it has met with tremendous success. I thought I'd post a photo (ala S&W classic) for your viewing pleasure.

Cheers;
Lefty

The Half Breed with sharkskin front panel and reinforced mouthband, fully lined in calfskin. The rear panel is full grain cowhide lined with calf to prevent contact wear and scuffing on the belt. Pictured with a c. 1955 "Baby Chiefs Special".

Here's the Cutdown Pocket Rocket, full shark and calf lined.

We're evaluating some other exotic hides for potential use, so far the shark and rayskin has been popular for mouthband accents or reinforcements, requested for auto models most often. So since I'm a revolver guy, I thought I'd bring a few of the wheelgun models up, and the response is well beyond our expectation. Hope you enjoy the photos!

Deep Cover Pocket Rocket with contrasting reinforced mouthband.

I have been wearing your DEEP DROP BANDIT and it conceals the S&W 642 really well and is very comfortable. I wear it over the appendix. Even when I pull the shirt tight against it you cannot tell I am carrying a weapon.

Thank you for your kind remarks. For many users, traditional or conventional inside waistband models fail the task. Many of us (most?) gain weight as we age and subsequently, the traditional IWB's tend to "spill" when worn at the appendix. I had the very same experience myself. I carried IWB at the appendix for most of my career in plainclothes or when off duty, with a back up in the pocket. There is nothing faster to draw from when wearing a light cover garment than the IWB at the appendix. But, when the fat gene kicked in at about 40 or so, I had to either change tactics or change the holster designs. The Deep Drop Bandit was the first in a series of designs, followed over the years by some others that incorporated different features to suit different pistols. Invariably, they work well and have proven themselves admirably, becoming our top selling products. Thanks again for you comments and my very best regards to you.

Cheers;
Lefty
