Default What does AZ contitutional carry mean to non-residents

Like the title says, do they only allow certain out of state permit holders, or is everyone allowed to exercise concealed carry?

If you can legally own a firearm. If you are 21 Years of age or older and you are a US Citizen you can carry a concealed firearm in AZ after July 29, 2010. You must follow the same restrictions on places you can not carry as those with Permit/Licenses to Carry Have. Plus without a permit/license from AZ or any other state you can not carry into a place that serves alcohol.

It's legal right now for any US Citizen to carry a loaded handgun in a vehicle in Arizona without a permit as long as it isn't concealed. The definition of "concealed" is a bit confusing because they recommend it be in a holster and stored in the glove box or center console. That same gun NOT in a holster is considered concealed and a concealed permit is required. Open carry is permitted State wide, but seldom seen in downtown Phoenix...probably because California transplants freak out at the sight of a gun.

Good to see that at least one state recognizes the rights of citizens. AZ seems to have a lot of good ideas lately.
Here we've got to deal with the idiot's Lautenberg and Menendez who keep trying to block country wide reciprocity. Totally ignoring the 'full faith and credit' clause. That's the one that says your marriage(M+F anyway), and driver's licenses are good in all states. How did the CCW get left behind.

Wasn't there just a tiny part of you , even knowing it would be against your correct view of the Constitution , that was hoping Arizona would deny the right to carry , whether they have a permit or not , to anybody from a state which routinely refuses to honor other state's permits , denies permits to it own citizens unless they can show cause , such as "cause they are guarding Rosie O'Donnell" , and more generally elect people like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer ?

I don't know where you came up with that idea. Right now I live in a state that doesn't recognize it's own citizens right to carry. I asked the question cause I just had a friend move out to AZ and I was planning to visit.
What was on your mind with that question?

Same here in WI, lots of pro-gun folks in a non CCW State. This may start to change when we get a new Governor next Fall.
