I have a Galco band with strong-side and cross-draw leather holsters and a couple of fabric pockets for mags or whatever. Never tried anything larger than a M-60 S&W, an old Walther PPK, and a Bond Arms Derringer so I can't speak as to the largest gun the Galco will accept.
Very effective and comfortable in cool weather. Not my favorite CC rig in this heat.

I recently got a "Smart Carry" and could not be more pleased. It comfortably conceals my 649, MP9c or Bersa Thunder with an additional pocket for an extra magazine/speed strip. It is very well made, discreet and comfortable for around $50+/-. They come in different sizes, I got the medium, which works well regardless of what I choose to carry. They are not ideal if you will be sitting for long periods, like driving long distance, but when in my truck the gun of choice is in the center console anyway. (o;

I bought one from Magills.com. And all I can say is RUN AWAWY! The stitching came apart in about 2 weeks of infrequent use(ie 4 or 5 times). It did conceal my 642 and my Kel-Tec PF9 very well but the quality was lacking for sure. I don't know about the other brands like Galco. I might have to try one out!

Hey, check out my post about the Ultimate belly band. This thing is a jewel. I have ran with it, worn it all day running errands and it is so comfortable you won't even know you are wearing it!
Mine is a Bianchi, I think it is called the Ranger. I bought it in the mid to late '90s and I love it. Fastens with velcro and should be worn at belt level with gun at about the 4:00 o'clock position. My most carried gun with this band is my 640-1, but I have carried other J,K,L and even N-frame revolvers in total comfort under tucked in shirts. I've also carried a Glock 27 in it. Even when carrying for 17 hours, I almost forgot it's there. It has slots that perfectly fit a Bianchi Speed Strip, so I even have reloads on-board.
I think most people try these and use them in the wrong position. If you look at ads they usually picture it around the midriff. That is never going to be comfortable. Massad Ayoob has written that he likes to have a J-frame in front with the butt just left of the naval. That's not comfortable for me so I use the strong side. It works great.

I also have a Bianchi. Mine stretched after use and I had to sew on some extra velcro to make it work. But I can't complain. I use it mostly for carrying under a T shirt when I don't have belt loops in my shorts, but it has also carried a fully loaded Glock 21 on a 12 mile run and it's also my preferred method of carry when I'm riding a bicycle. I remember once seeing a huge belly band that was taken off a street thug. I don't know who made it, but it could've easily carried and hidden the biggest handguns out there.
