Recently I read an article about a family in a restaurant and they had their autistic child with them and the child was (as autistic children do) making noise, cutting up or something.

A guy at another table got mouthy saying something about if they couldn't make the child behave HE would do it. I think there was a fight and the family man was injured.

Now I sure don't have a "Batman complex" but I can't see myself standing by and not intervening on behalf of the family with the autistic child.

I'd have to stand between the jerk and the family and hopefully other men seeing this may just stand tall and do the same. THAT would be a good statement right there.

I think there's a quote some famous man in history said - something about "All it takes for evil to abound it for good men to stand by and do nothing". Feel free to correct me if I'm off and post who said this too....
