Default looking for 2" K frame IWB options....

im wanting an IWB leather holster for a 2" model 64.

i need something with the sweat shield or body guard that protects my body from the hammer.

ive seen plenty for the J frames but none for the K frame 2".

dont need a tuckable but id consider it, also prefer leather but will consider kydex.

not wanting to spend a mint or wait a long time for it, just want something better than the nylon uncle mikes type, which works but id like a little more retention from the molded style holster.

thanks for any options.

Ever considered a Barami Hip-Grip? No shield, but you might not rust stainless.

Oops. Just noticed that the shield was for the hammer. YMMV, but I would bob the hammer.

If you're considering kydex, check out PSS at Personal Security Systems Kydex Holsters

They make nice stuff. I believe K frame is available.

Kramer IWB Clip. Used one with my 2" Model 64. Worked great for me.

i looked at the side guard web site, they look like exactly what i would want, leather, off set belt clip to keep it thin, high rise leather back to stop the hammer from gouging me....the problem is he lists a 6-8 week back log.

Most any custom maker is going to have at least a 6 week wait...

i guess they only make them when somebody askes for one, no inventory on hand for popular models i guess.....keeps overhead down.

I was looking for a k frame IWB also, and saw them at Gunners Alley which has them at a better total shipped price than Hume. They did not have any so they checked with Hume, and Hume is out of them, wouldn't have any until maybe Mid January.

Uncle Mike's isn't too bad for the money and readily available most anywhere! Simply Rugged is another option as are others including Galco, Safariland, Bell Charter Oak, Bianchi, etc.

i must have missed the pix of their holsters.....ive found very few that have an off set belt clip as in not on the cycliner, and many dont have the body guard leather backing thus allowing the hammer to dig into you.......

i will go back and look.
