I have one made by a different maker. Never warmed up to it and I like minimalist designs.
I found my Fist ultra-thin kydex just as thin, but far most stable. Also, having to "pull-thru" the tether can change the draw stroke slightly and may limit you if you are drawing tight quarters or in arms length of an adversary.

I don't think that the IPDA judges are going to like this one...

I use a similar design by Dale Fricke and I like it. It's fast. It adds zero bulk. Concealment is superb. Very convenient for around the town wear.

I have some leftover kydex, I may try something similar with the addition of a J-hook.

But I can't afford another holster. Looks like it would do the trick.

The gun is still going to fall down into your pants ala Plaxico Burris. Or fall out of your pants and dangle between your legs (if the weight of the gun doesn't disengage the holder). Maybe you can retrieve it with the string, like Idiot Mittens? Sorry, I don't get it.

It's not a holster, it's a trigger cover. It does nothing to protect the firearm from sweat and crud, nor does it protect your delicate skin from the sharp edges of the firearm.

It's basically a quick-release lanyard, not a holster. I suppose the "tactical" crowd might find it interesting, if not truly useful.

not sure Id qualify it as a holster .. perhaps a halfster or a quaterster.
it does start to answer the problems with mexican carry.

I wonder how well that will stay tucked in your pants if you trip and fall forward? Worse yet get tacked and find your self wrestling on the ground?

yep - it's basically "improved Mexican carry."
Here's another minimalist design from Raven Concealment. It uses a belt loop and avoids having to "pull through" the tether: http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread....ighlight=raven

Trigger guard or not, I don't see myself ever being comfortable with Mexican carry. I don't like my pistol pointed at my gun.

That looks like a waste of perfectly good plastic to me.
