Light/Laser option... pics
Hey guys... wanted to share a find... did a TON of research lately and have posted about it...
I have a PC 327 TRR8 and got it for HD/range. It took me forever to find a holster.. found one.
Now.. the next step was getting it ready for a night time situation. Although now, about 3000 rounds into this gun, and confident in my abilities, I was neglecting a rule for nightime use. Identifying the jerk who made his way into my house at night.
So, I wanted to mount a light, and possibly a laser onto this gun, which is what it is designed for, as it has rails built in. Surefire, Crimson Trace, Eotech, Insight, Streamlight..etc all make great solutions to my query.... however...
after spending $1200 on this gun, I was reluctant to spend another $300-600+ on an accessory, but wanted to make it as safe and effective as possible.
In comes Nebo... Nebo who??? A small company out of Texas that makes US Army class flashlights and now recently, firearm lights and lasers. They are aircraft aluminum, 190+ lumens, strobe or continuous, rated to 1000 g's, water resistent, 450 yd laser rating...etc.... the catch? They are under $100.
I got one... a Nebo Protec Elite HP 190ls. laser light combo that slides onto any rail system with a quick relase lever that is better than anything I have seen.
This thing is built like a tank, bright as hell, and is super ergonomic.
check it out... I am a fan... might want to remove the name brand off the side of it, but... I doubt the man who decides to break in is going to have time to read it.
Cheers... what do you think??

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to check them out right now. I have two Streamlights I just love. How do you turn that Nebo thing on? And don't say you have to buy it a dinner and whisper sweet nothings in its ear....

at the rear of the unit is a nice size, ribbed pressure toggle. one push continuous, another back and forth is strobe.. they alternate.
The laser is on/off via small switch on the bottom of the unit.
After about 15 minutes of practice last night, I was out of bed, gun in hand from nightstand range bag, both light and laser on - in about 3 seconds..
obviously - at 3am dead asleep, it might be more - but I will tell you, I am really, really impressed with the unit.
Here is a link...
PROTEC Firearm Lighting | Hand Gun Lighting | Long Gun Lighting | Laser Sights | NEBO Tools
good luck.

I looked at this same one just today; funny that you just posted this. Any idea if this would fit on a M&P compact?
