Dogmann,
I have a Tucker IWB (I like it a lot, very comfy) and I am thinking about a Lobo Gunleather "enhanced panckake" for winter months.
The Concealed Carry forum here has some good holster threads, too.
HTH,
Chris

I've got a Simply Rugged Sourdough with the IWB straps for my 2-1/2" 686 and it works quite well either IWB with the straps or owb w/o them.

I have a Kramer belt holster for my 686 2.5in. One of the best holsters I have ever had. Was an LEO for 30 years, so I've had my share of good ones and bad ones. Kramer holds the gun nice and tight. No flop. Excellent workmanship. Little pricey, with a 8 week lead time, but well worth it.

I have a Side Guard for my 686 snub. Search the forum, the maker is a member and a heck of a nice guy and will make you a fine holster for your L frame. It honestly makes my 686 2.5" one of my better concealing pieces.
