Just browsed the Photobucket link and that is some fine long lost Royal Blue there. Mine is the polished stainless from a later model that had Pachmayrs from the factory. Barf. You sir, struck gold there.

It will only be showing off when I have wood as good as yours. I'm leaning to one of Altamont's products unless I find a more suitable substitute.

I am always looking for grips, please let me know what you find. I sometimes get used grips and sand em to fit my hand and finish em with tounge oil.

Altamont - Pistol Grips - Colt Python
Right now I'm liking the bottom right option. Buying a take off real deal is getting priced out of control so I doubt I will go that route. Altamont has been OEM for Colt, S&W, Ruger, and more so it wouldn't be a complete deviation from the right thing. Anything else would just be something from Don Collins or similar.

Thanks Bob. and I just had a local expert look at my Python, he said don't shoot it, put it away, that's not why I bought it, and I think I like it to much to hurt it, so I am looking for another one, I guess my daughter will get this one too.
