Just ordered SuperTuck, question
Well, Going to pick up the M&P 45c next paycheck, and after reading so many awesome reports on the Crossbread SuperTuck IWB holster, i decided to go ahead and order one since they take 4-6 weeks for delivery according to their website.
Any comments?! Suggestions on this holster?! I do have one question, Do i need to get a special belt? or just any belt?

It's a good holster that I use for my M&P 9c. Do you need a special belt? No, just a very good gun belt. My 1 1/2" belt fits the clips great.
Get the horsehide holster; it's $15 more but worth it. As far as clips, I just use the standard steel clips and they work great for me.
Combat cut ... I didn't get this cut for another $7.50 but many recommend it. I draw my 9c fine without it but if I felt a need to change it then I can do it myself. I guess I'm just cheep and didn't want to spend the extra $7.50 for something I could do myself. Again, many recommend it and it might not be a bad idea ... just depends on your preference.
It's a good holster. Good luck!!

Since you are in Florida, you might want to see if you can get the horsehide. Email Crossbreed and tell them you want to change it. Horsehide is better with sweat (i.e. Florida and my home in Phoenix) and it will work better for you. If you plan on carrying during the humid summer, change your order.
Good luck!!

I use my Supertuck more than any others. The only thing I experienced that I wasn't prepared for when I started using mine was a slight squeaking sound when I was walking. This was more pronounced when wearing my thicker gun belt, but still noticeable with regular belts. Oil didnt solve the issue for me. Thanks to suggestions from others on this forum, I tried powder and it worked great. Problem solved!
A good gun belt does make quite a difference for CC. Unless your every-day belt is unusually thick and stiff, you should consider a "gun belt".

Thanks for the info, my one belt isnt stiff or thick at all, so ill look into getting either one of crossbreads belts or one of the ones they have at the local shop. Something else i havnt thought about is if i need to start buying pants a size or two bigger than normal?

I would recommend the combat cut. I have two, cut the first one myself, and was smarter the 2nd time around.

Unless your trousers fit pretty loose now, you should think about going to a size larger. A little extra fabric won't bother you, but
too tight gets pretty uncomfortable.

I've been using a CBST for almost a year now. I got the horsehide option since Arkansas summers tend to be hot and humid. I'm glad I did. I started off with just the belt clips that came with the holster and they worked fine. After wearing it for a couple of months I ordered the Crossbreed belt with the "V" clips. That made a good combination even better, the belt is stiff enough that I have no belt sag at all. If you're going IWB carry, get your pants and belt 2" over your normal size.

I put my own combat cuts in them, just takes a few seconds with a sharp knife and a steady hand. They are nice holsters, but you have to wear them for a few days to break them in, then you almost forget that they are there. My only complaint with them is that the metal clips sometimes snag my t-shirt and have put small holes in the shirts (usually happens when I have been sitting down and stand up, somehow the shirt material seems to get caught under the corners of the clips). OTOH, the kydex clips I have had seem prone to breakage...
My wife wears hers cross-draw and has no issues with it.

I pretty much agree with all the comments posted so far as wear one with a Keltec P11 (yeah I know, but it goes bang when I want it to and it seems to handle alot of abuse). Anyway, the Crossbreed super tuck is a very good unit, esp. after its broken in. Good luck. Karl

thanks all! I picked up the 45c on Monday, Supertuck is still not here, so i picked up an $11 uncle mike's IWB holster from the shop i picked up the 45, works OK. Not the most comfortable or stable, but better than not wearing it at all, and the 45 goes into and comes out of the holster nicely. Cant wait to get the ST though!

I'll take the Comp-Tac Minotaur over the Crossbreed every time.
Usualy no more than 3 or 4 days wait, interchangeable Kydex shells allow me to have one holster that fits my M&P, Colt 1911 OACP, Walther PPS, and Glock 23. Shells are 35 bucks or so and take 5 minutes to swap. The Comp-Tac covers the end of the barrel preventing it from rubbing a hole in your pants, plus no silly crosses on the clips. Nothing says "Hey, look at me!" like a couple of big harryass clips sporting religous symbols draped over your belt.

Gun Belts by The Belt Man
Not the only place to get a really good belt, but a very good place to get a really good belt.
Enjoy!

I recently picked up an Old Faithful which is similar to the super tuck, I have to say it is the most comfortable iwb that I own. The comments about almost forgetting it's there are spot on.

Second the suggestion on the Horse Hide. Spend the extra for it. I am in Michigan and don't get as hot here as where you are so you will be glad you got the horse hide, a lot better. Don't spend the extra money for the combat cut, I just trimmed it how I like it and was cheaper. Very nice holster you will be glad you got it.

I dont even use a belt with mine. The clip on concept is very versatile.
you can reposition them to the back and use it OWB instead of IWB for range work too.

Even though the cross doesn't show on an IWB holster, I kinda like it. I gotta say this though, keep in mind I really like my ST, wear it at least 1/2 the time I'm carrying, but- yesterday I sat on a low stool and the pistol fell out on the floor. CB warranties the holster for life, I know and I'm not worried, but it kinda surprised me. I tried holstering and drawing a few times, and it does seem to have lost some of its retention, but I couldn't get it to fall out again. I know it COULD have been that I didn't holster it all the way, but...I always listen for the click. I'll wait to see if it happens again then call CB.

I didn't read the whole thread, but here are my comments, after carrying 1911-types in a CBST several days a week for a few months, both tucked and untucked:
1. It is quite comfortable, tucked or not.
2. Tucking is easier than it is with most other tuckables.
3. The steel clips that come with it work, but will invite inquiry if exposed to the world and not covered by a concealing garment or bloused shirt. I replaced mine with the velcro-fitted V-clips, put velcro in the appropriate spots on the two belts I wear most, and I'm convinced that is the way to go. It becomes invisible to all but the most diligent "gun spotter" with this setup.
4. You still should use a good gunbelt to avoid sagging and discomfort.
5. You should have the "combat cut" to prevent snagging your fingertips and/or thumb on draws.
6. The only serious drawback in the design I've found yet is that is is hypersensitive to canting the gun on the draw. Unless you draw the gun straight out, opposite the direction it went in, it will hang up nearly solid. Any canting forward or backward on the draw causes this problem. Practice helps, and I don't know if non-1911 pistols are as susceptible, but it is an issue with 1911s.
7. I can comfortably conceal full-size 1911s under a tucked dress shirt with this design better than with any other I've tried, and I've tried several.
8. With a Detonics Combat Master, it may be the ultimate deep concealment of a full-power firearm.

#6. I believe CB tells us that the cant is part of the retention process. You have to draw in that one direction, and it's a good thing if you look at it like this- someone surprises you, get into a fight, he tries to grab your pistol. If he doesn't pull it the correct direction it ain't comin' out. I'm pretty sure that's the case.
