This is my first winter with a carry permit. I have a lcp, lc9, sr9, sr9c, xd 40 sc, and a 637-2. Xd40 sc iwb on my days off and switch between the smaller guns when I'm working. During the warmer months I tried the sr9 and sr9c but haven't found a good holster to this point.

I'm in the pacific northwest. I carry a 442 in my pocket, in a remora holster. I sometimes carry my SD9 IWB, but the snubster is a lot more stealthy.

NE Ohio here and always on me is a Seecamp 32 ACP in front pocket holster. Otherwise alternating a Glock 26 in Don Hume OWB or Colt 1911 45 ACP in FIST OWB. I never leave home without at least the Seecamp!

EDC mon-sat (work) I carry kahr cw9. Light weight, compact and thin. Allows me to go about my job without anyone knowing or it bothering me. outside of work mainly the 3rd gen G19 (and it does have holster wear) but that will soon change. Im waiting for my crossbreed holster for my smith 5946.

Now it's an M&P9c in a Safariland 18 IWB holster. Going to get a hybrid (crossbreed style) for it next.

This usually covers Indiana weather. If I take the dogs for a late night winter walk I usually put a C.M. on the hip.

I am very surprised at the amount of revolvers that are carried. Also surprised with the people who carry multiple guns. This is a good thing.

Can't carry on campus, when I'm home or otherwise able to carry, it's a Springfield Milspec, carry position and holster depends on what I'm doing, my mood and my cover garment. M7/M9 shoulder rig for my downtown/bar area carry on a Friday or Saturday night (generally less likely to show if I sit down), most days it's in the holster it came with at about 3:30, and when it's in the sock drawer it's in a Bulldog holster so I can clip it in my waistband really quick if I need to run outside. Of course, I always have at least one spare magazine, a knife, and a small l.e.d.
Indiana, Lafayette permanent address, go to school in the Terrible Haute

To start with I live in Rural South Central Missouri, about 10 miles from Mayberry. We have a pretty low crime rate against persons here. We will have an armed robbery every few years in the County.
I carry almost daily. I practice what I call Practical Concealed Carry. In Summer weather if I am running around, and not planning on going to town, I will likely have a couple shotshells in the first two chambers up, followed by reloads.
In colder weather when snakes are not a problem I will then go to all solids of some type. I might be carrying a 22, or a 45. In my daily travels I come across copperheads, cottonmouths, rattlesnakes, armodillows, deer hit by vehicles that need finished off, mud turtles switching ponds, etc that may require some attention. Being mugged is not a big concern unless going to Springfield or another larger city.
I am retired, and I carry as an ongoing project. So I switch carry guns around a lot. I have found that I can pretty much carry anything reasonable if dressed for it.
My current Carry Rotation:
S&W 638 in Lobo Model 1 Pancake & Nemisis pocket holster
Ruger LCR 357 w/XS 24/7 Standard Dot Front Sight in a Lobo Enhanced Pancake & Rue Jr pocket holster.
Ruger LCR 22 Shares LCR 357 holsters
S&W 4" 617-1 Lobo Enhanced Pancake
S&W 4" 64-3 Lobo Enhanced Pancake
S&W 2-1/2" 66 No Dash Lobo Enhanced Pancake
S&W 2-1/2" 310 Night Guard Lobo Enhanced Pancake
S&W 3" 625-3 Lobo Model 1 Pancake
S&W 4" 610 No Dash Lobo Enhanced Pancake
Colt 1911 SS XSE Custom in Rafter S Shark Skin Avenger & IWB by another local maker Caldwell.
XDm 40 in a Serpa I will probably get a Lobo Avenger for it sooner or later, or have Jeff Wright build me something.
Ruger 4" MK III in a Custom Kydex w/TecLoc and a Custom Kydex 2 magazine carrier for it by Jeff Wright, BoomStick Holsters
Of the above rotation I am currently pocket carrying the LCR 357 in the Rue Jr the most.
I Town Carry my 310 Night Guard the most.
My woods bumming around main carry gun would be my 64.
If I may get in some plinking/practice time down at the creek, the LCR 22, 617, or MK III will probably be on the hip.
I rotate the others around my 3 main carry guns for variety, and checking out how they carry, grips I like best, ammunition carrying methods, any clothing issues, etc. Conceal Carry is an ongoing retirement project for me. I also rotate around the above carry list shooting in our local Club Defensive Pistol Matches. Next weekend (Febuary) is a Steel Challenge Match. I will probably run my 610 as my main steel gun. I will probably pick two more to shoot also from the list above. March is back to IDPA Silhouettes. My serious SSR gun is my 64. I will probably shoot my LCR 357 and LCR 22 in BUG Division. I may shoot my 1911 in CDP Division. I may run my 617 or MK III in Rimfire Division. I normally make Two to Five entries in our handgun match every month, depending on how heavy the turnout is, and the weather.
Varity is the spice of life.
Bob

Boys, you'll have to forgive me, not being in law enforcement or military, but what do the letters EDC & BUG stand for. I know, by reading, what you're talking about. i just don't know the phrases. Thanks! And in my cargo shorts( being retired) my Ruger LCP, or my Sig P250 works very well!

EDC = Everyday Carry
BUG = Back Up Gun.
It took me awhile to figure them out too.

Late to the thread...
When I carry open on the 4 wheeler or on the farm, it's a mod 28-2.
If under a jacket, it's a Mod 19-3.
My guns and holsters get beat up and show a lot of wear.
Like me.
