J-frame grips?
I've received my hip-grips on the mail today and I'm satisfied with everything except that they are really cheap. Don't look all that bad except the left grip half is smaller than the right exposing more of the frame where the right side is a almost perfect fit.
I've seen the Collins lip grips and the metal clips that mount on the gun (Looks like it's too low on the gun.).
Does anyone know of any others with the clip??
And while I'm at it...
Anyone know anything about these? There's one set on EBAY and it's the only pair I've found. They're supposed to be buffalo horn. No manufacturer is listed.

I have a pair on my 642 with the BK Grip adapter. I really like the way they look. Mine are a dark burgundy, almost black. The grips don't necessarily absorb much shock at the range as well as some of the rubber grips, but these do feel good in my hand, slipping in and out of a pocket, or ankle holster as there is nothing to get cling to, or get hung up on. Here's a shot of mine in my ankle holster from Galco.

Those are the Barami? They look good! Mine do as well other than just not having a perfect fit.
What exactly does the t-handle do? Does it allow you to get all four fingers around the grip?

I really like the looks of the buffalo grips in my original post, surprised they're not more common.

Sorry for the confusion, Indy. The grips I have on my gun are made from water buffalo horn, and were indeed purchased on fleabay. I have looked at the Barami Hip Grips for years and wondered how handy they might be, but never tried any on my gun. I also like the ones in your photo.
Another alternative to the Barami might be the Universal Clip Draw Holster. I have one on my Glock 17 and I really like it.

Those are made in Thailand. Some fit, some don't.

Well.......... after years of trying different grips on my carry guns (Pachmeyer, Uncle Mike's, Altamont, Eagle, Ajax, Hogue, etc. I have for the last 15 years been using the original Factory grips with a Tyler T grip installed.
I find them light, a good grip surface, compact, non gummy - won't stick to clothing, and ALONG WITH THE TYLER T- the best of the lot.
YMMV
