I've got a 4xx serial numbered P938. It required break-in and likes to be run well lubed . It also appears to like hot ammo, and there are a lot of reports of problems with 115 grain Winchester White Box, especially with new guns. After a 5-6 failures to extract ending at about round 160, mine fed Speer 124 Blazers and Gold Dots like a champ until about 500 rounds. It started having feed issues when chambering from slide lock, but ran like a champ once the first round was chambered. I also had some trouble with an optional 7 round magazine ejecting during a string of fire. (No such issue with 6 rounders.) Reports are that Sig has made some upgrades, including to the extractor, and that reliability is up. They are now in 5 digit serial numbers and forum reports are good on newer guns. (See Sig Forum and Sig Talk) Mine is at Sig right now getting warranty work for the first round feed problem. The little gun has great sights and does well at 25 yards with minimal training. It has replaced the S&W 642 in a backup capacity for that reason.
