Default NRA Homeland Slide Holster

Have any of you tried this?
http://www.nrastore.com/nrastore/Pro...817&p=SA%20334

It looks good for my M&P 9mm full size, but I'd like to know your thoughts if you have tried this holster.

Thanks

What I want to know is will the large size fit my P229 or my H&K P30 or my S&W 5903TSW? Anyone have an answer for this?

Don't know for sure but those look like Taguas. Personally I think they are not made well. If you look at the pics you see you can't get all three of your fingers on the grip when drawing. I consider that a must. You're better off spending a few dollars more and getting a holster made specifically for your gun.

I've got a similar one for my CZ-82 at half the price, although one may consider the extra cost as a contribution to the NRA cause. It works "okay" but I've found the gun creeps out some and I have to reseat it occasionally.

While it's based on the Tagua design, the NRA model is made from thicker hide and is much stiffer than the Tagua.
For someone undecided How/Where they want to carry (IWB, OWB, Between belt and waistband, 2 o'clock, 4 o'clock, cross-draw etc), this makes a great 1st holster (everyone ends up with at LEAST 3-5 holsters ), due to its versatility.
The Large worked well for my XDsc and XDM. Used OWB, when laced 'straddling' a belt loop, it locks in nice and tight against the body. Same goes for clipping it inside the belt, between the belt and pants. As for IWB, I like more leather between my skin and my pistol that a Hybrid offers, but like I mentioned earlier, it's great for figuring out where you'd want to wear it.
Just my opinion, YMMV

When ever in camp (Iraq TEAM 1 and 2) I carried the SIG 210 in a similar holster. I works best in safer areas as "own camp". It is great and can be left on the body with out the gun when one needs a better holster in more hostile environments (outside I would carry my pistol on my chest outside the bodyarmour).

I have one I use for my M&P 40c. It is comfy as a IWB. I haven't used it as OWB as my current State prohibits "open carry". I originally bought it for my XD40 Service model but it didn't fit (I have the Large model). But, it fits my M&P nicely with no riding or moving out of the holster. The only issue I have as a IWB holster is reholstering it.

Thanks so much for all the comments.
I don't really care for any IWB holsters, as the ones I have tried just don't work for me. But this one could - maybe. The re-holstering factor could be a negative, but any of the flat/thin IWB holsters would create the same challenge.
