Default Strange elevator ride------------

My wife,SIL, grandson and I were in downtown Fort Worth yesterday. We enjoyed the sights and had a fine meal at Del Frisco's. When we got back to the parking garage we waited in line for the elevator. There were 2 questionable characters waiting also. When the car came we boarded and a young women with a young girl also got on. The 2 QC's also got on. As soon as they got on I unholstered my CCW and put it in my coat pocket. The 2 QC's pushed the number 7 button. We pushed 5 and the young lady pushed 3. When the doors opened at 3 the the lady and young girl started to exit and the QC's started to exit also. They looked around a bit and then returned back to their corner. My wife nudged me and I was watching very close. When we got off at 5 they stayed and acted very suspicious. After we exited my wife asked if I would of got off on 3 if the QC's would of got off with the young lady. I said "you felt it also" and she said "yes I did". In the end everyone was safe but it sure was a strange few minutes.

That's that sixth sense you hear us talking about. Always listen to the little voice.

I always think my wife doesn't really know whats going on around her. Boy was I wrong. I'm very happy to have her for my backup. Or maybe I'm her backup.

One of the things that Gavin DeBecker writes about in his book 'the Gift of Fear" is listening to that little voice. If the two QCs were pinging my radar that I hard I would have got off the first time the elevator stopped regardless, unless of course they were also getting off.

As Mr. Myagi said "Best block no be there"
