Let's see...one pair of pants, $86. One DeSantis Nemesis that can be used with many pairs of pants, about $25. One Uncle Mike's pocket holster that can be used with the pants that don't accommodate the Nemesis well, about $15. Total around $40, and no need to buy a lot of new pants.
I think I'll have to pass on these.

Did you watch their videos? Didn't seem like too quick a draw to me. Also, the guy runs pretty funny - might have just been him, but probably with a full size handgun in your front pocket you wouldn't be as fully mobile as with other systems IMHO.
Also, would it really be self defence if you chase the guy around the corner, surprise him and then shoot him when he pulls a knife?

Haven't tried them, I'd like to hear from those that have. In the meantime, I'll just put one of these in my pocket.

The only break-away pants I'm familiar with are the ones I wore when I did a private gig at a bachelorette party as "John the Cop". Conceilment wasn't exactly the highest priority then.

Yea I saw that funny run, looks like he tried to keep the gun leg straight or something.the gun would have been obvious as hell as he ran normally

I wear Duluth Trading cargo pants, and the front pockets are deal and large. I carry a 442 in a Mika's Pocket holster and it disappears. Large pocket opening too. $54.00 a pair. Mika's holster $29.95.

This is quite likely the most asinine product ever conceived.
That said, it will likely appeal to those who refer to their "carry systems." Hmmmmm, perhaps I shall buy stock.
Be safe.

"Server not found." You're on the right track though! .......
I just thought what I'd look like in a pair of break away pants. Oh Lordy, that is a sight I wouldn't want to see.

Like a previous post I cannot see myself in a pair of breakaway pants mostly b/c no one should have to see that!
All joking aside I just don't see the value of these trousers. More of a gimmic and I doubt they'll be on the market long.

I have Duluth Trading pants as well. The pockets are huge and the fire hose material is very durable.
The pockets are large enough to carry and easily draw a Glock 19 from. Not that I did that regularly.
These breakaway pants just seem like a good way to separate people from their money.

"A fool and his money are soon parted."
And so are the "awesome" snaps on these "ubercool" CCW trousers!!!
(Heh, I've always wanted to use "ubercool." Makes me want to snort like Beavis and Butthead.)
