Default Oversize Back Pocket Pants

Hello,

I read a description of a pocket holster that refers to "new styled pants with oversized pockets." It also refers to pockets that won't be large enough "Wrangler/Levis."

Anyone know what new styled pants or non-Wrangler/Levis jeans would have larger than the std 6" rear pockets that aren't cargo or carpenter pants? All my jeans, docker & docker clones have the 6" std pockets.

from pocketholsters.com:
"It will not fit in the rear pocket of a standard jeans (Wrangler/Levis) but were designed to fit the oversized pockets of cargo pants and new styled pants with oversized pockets. "

Thanks

"Tactical" pants like the cargo pants from 5.11 and similar have massive rear pockets. My wallet is down below my rear end when I sit in a chair.

Also very wide, they go from the side seam, almost all the way to the center line. Great for dropping things like AR mags in them at the range, but small things tend to wander around and turn sideways.

Jeans are likely to be a no-go. I pocket carry and rear pockets on all jeans have gotten smaller and smaller. Wranglers are a little more roomier than Levi's . The Levi's I'm wearing today barely have room for my wallet. The 3 inch bladed Kershaw, I usualy carry next to the wallet won't even fit next to it. The knife and wallet fit in Wranglers' but not by a whole lot. Had to put knife in front pocket and don't like it there.
Cargo type pants are no problem. Roomy pockets all around. Wranglers' might do but you're just going to have to try them on to see if they will accommodate before buying them.

If I had jeans like that I could conceal an M79 Thumper.

I made a back pocket holster for a client to his specs. It'd fit in one of my front pockets but stick out of a back pocket.
I didn't think of those jeans with the giant back pockets.

Don't carry wallets and the like in back pockets. You can do a lot of damage to nerves and muscles. I carry mine in a side pocket of my cargo pants, and the inside pocket of my suit coats.

Pockets are getting smaller. I guess real men carry their wallets, snoose and revolver in a "murse."

Seriously, I use the front side pocket for carry and check the pocket size before I buy. From experience, the pocket has to be deep enough to cover my watch with fingers straight, and wide enough that I can relax my hand with room for thumb and fingers (about 6").

I have never found back pockets large enough for concealed carry. Cargo pants might be an exception, but a heavy object in a low pocket swings around too much for comfort and concealment. The standard jeans or casual rear pocket holds a double magazine carrier for a .45 with room to spare.

On my last trip to Cabelas, I found their Levi jeans too shallow in the pockets, but their own "Rough Rider" jeans worked just fine. At my age, I need more derriere room anyway.

I pocket carry and have for years, but have no desire to carry a gun in a back pocket. I like to be able to stroll along with my hand on my gun and not look as if I'm about to slap leather. Just an old man with his hand in his side pocket. Probably the only pleasure the poor geezer has these days...

My employer issues me 5.11 "Tactical" pants ( I haven't a clue what makes pants tactical...) I can pocket carry my Shield in the back pocket and it's way down under my butt when I sit down.

Can't even get it into the back pocket of my jeans though

Some of the more "urban" jeans have really big back pockets.

You'll most likely see those jeans riding just above the knees though
