Default On Open Carry

Open carry has become a very sensitive issue as it becomes intertwined with the 2nd Amendment. Anyone who carries a firearm, for SD purposes must have a good judgmental and tactical sense if he hopes to be successful defending himself.

I stop short of advising people not to open carry but the incident referred to by the OP is especially difficult to defend against because it would require a level of alertness far exceeding Jeff Cooper's "Condition Yellow." Thus, CCWs must devise a set of tactics based upon how they carry.
