Sig p938
Well I have put a little over 200 flawless rounds through the new carry gun. I am learning about sight radius and how it works in real life. Truthfully I never paid much mind to it before. I shot the Sig. at the outdoor range today, first time with it outside. I was a little further back (about 30 ft) than other times I have shot it (about 21 ft), as the husband was chronographing some .45 acp loads for me (mine are a hair under major) and we were sharing a range. I shot a mag of my SD loads through it, no problems. I am not surprised that the group was not as tight as I would like it as my trigger finger was all over the place. Sometimes I was using the tip, sometimes the first knuckle, etc. The front strap can rub the base of my right hand ring finger until it is sore. So this time I put a band-aide where it rubs me. It worked like a charm. I have zero regrets buying this gun.

You will be surprised how accurate it is out to 50/60 yds. I reckon I could easily shoot it out to 100 yds. Great gun.

On Hickok45's review of it, he was consistently hitting the gong. It is out at 80 yards!

I'm glad it's working out for you. I absolutely love my nightmare.
The checkering on the front of my grip is very aggressive, so I put some grip tape (rubbery, not gritty) on it and am pleased with the change.
I haven't taken mine out to 80 yards, but I do ding my 10" steel plate at 40 yards.

Yes I was very surprised by the P938 once you get used to it you'll easily hit man sized targets at distances you thought were impossible for such a small gun.

ATF,
When I say that my groupings were not what I want them to be.. In the grand scheme of things, if I was using a B27 target, they would be all within a tight center grouping. I want them to tear a hole in the 100 yard rifle target I was using. I will get there. I know that it is better than I am, and I am ok with that. It has taught me stuff already, like bunching my shoulders and squishing my head into my shoulders to bring my head to my gun does not give an accurate sight picture. Dropping my shoulders and bringing the gun up a small amount to my head, totally improves my hits. I am also understanding sight radius more. I have learned the small changes in my sight picture make big differences in the hits, whereas with other guns with longer slides/barrels, it was not as noticeable.
USAF, where did you get your rubbery grip tape? It sounds like it would work well for me.

I got the tape on amazon. It's under "GT-5000 grip tape". I've used it on a few guns and like it so far.

You could also try the Hogue rubber grips. I changed to a Hogue backstrap on my P938 for better traction.

ATF, I thought of that, especially since the rubber Hogue grips fit my hand really well, but the smooth rosewood grips it currently has on it are so pretty.. I have to be girly once in awhile. :-)
