I have a Sigma 40F and am looking for a "comfortable" IWB holster for concealed carry if possible.

Not a lot of choices out there. Any suggestions on what have worked for you? Thanks!

A lot really depends on how you're built around the belt line . . . That's a pretty good size pistol to be stuffing in your pants.

Yeah, I know. It is a big pistol but I love it. I'm a big guy, 40 waist.

I'm thinking about getting a smaller weapon soon, maybe the SW40 VE.

Thanks for the response Muss Muggins.

Go to lobogunleather.com. Ray is a member here and his work is top quality. Do a search and you'll see how many satisfied customers he has here.

For me, IWB and Comfortable cannot be used in the same sentence. If you are considering a smaller gun to carry, have you thought about the Shield. It is a gun you can OWB carry all day with comfort.

Wright Leather Works makes quality holsters that will fit your Sigma if you want to give it a try, both IWB, OWB, and Hybrid.

Thanks for the info everyone. I'm going to reach out to my local shop and continue to get advice from this great forum!

I have two terrific holsters. One rather pricey and of high quality,.. Kramer IWB's. Excellent and very comfortable. The other is of low cost, very good quality and extremely comfortable, Alien Gear. I have four for various weapons and they are also wonderful to carry for long periods. Just my two cents.

I would recommend either the Milt Sparks Summer Special 2 or the Milt Sparks VMII. Both excellent for CCW, great on retention and comfortable for most people.

I have a Sigma holster for sale on eBay if that would help you out. Part of an estate I am helping to sell. Will send you a photo if you would like or do a search on eBay for Sigma/SD holster. My handle is 1813Anschutz

Here's something you can try with an IWB holster you already have; try it OWB but under the belt. It doesn't work with some holsters if they span across a belt loop, but it's worth a try.

I love my High Noon Holsters. My current carry is a S&W 5906, which has some weight. The High Noon Holster is so comfortable that I often forget I have it on.
