Hello. I have not seen this addressed on this or any other Board, and it wasn't exactly covered in my CFP class.
When you are traveling from point A to point B, and you have to travel through a state that doesn't honor your CFP, how do you secure your sidearm and ammunition so you don't violate any laws, without advertising that you are a carrier?
In my instance, I do know that if I reenter NJ, I must not only separate the ammo/clip from the arm, I must empty all of the clips, in addition to ensuring that any and all hollow points are boxed.
Do you just discretely unholster your arm in your trunk and case it, put it in a vault, or what?
Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.
