As ive just started recently to carry, I have one of those teeny tiny holsters for my GI 1911, and carry it on my left side in a small holster that secures it to my waist band. I don't wear a belt-haven't for many years-makes me feel ill because of tummy probs. Other than that, I don't carry it anywhere also on my bod (till I pay Wayne off) and ive not yet gotten used to carrying again. After I pay Wayne off-ill have a chest rig.

OWB, strong side, 4 o'clock is pretty standard for me. I will pocket carry in warm weather and use a shoulder holster if going on a long drive.

Just everyday carry a Ruger LCR.38 in holster in pants pocket, strong side!
For going in more dangerous areas, a XDs.45 inside the waist band strong side.

IWB appendix carry. 1974 Colt Cobra.
Just got back from the range, put a few cylinders worth through it today, mostly picking it up and double tapping.
Getting the Hoppe's fix right now.

IWB right side 3:00. Summer (most of the time in Az) Sig 938. Winter (December) Smith mod 60 in a Galco pancake. The Galco is really comfortable, but the crossbreed IWB can go under a T shirt.

I’m not an acronym master: checklists of them don’t communicate well for me.
Spelling things out in English is desirable.

Lately I’ve been carrying my Kimber Ultra Carry at 3:30 in a Milt Sparks VMII or J-frame snub in a Mika pocket holster.

From middle of Sept. to about June it's OWB. In the summer with a tank and shorts it's usually a J frame in the pocket.

I wish I could vote twice, because when I'm in my normal life I carry AIWB, but at work I wear just a t-shirt so it comes out of the holster and into the pocket.

SS 2:00.
It’ll hide a 4” K-frame OWB with just a big T-shirt. And I don’t have to worry about the butt poking out when I bend (the gun, not mine)

"Where do you carry MOST OFTEN ?"
Both in my house, and when I go outside. I carry least often in the hospital and the post office.
IWB, 2:30, and most other times, too.
Shield .40, G27 or G29, top m.e. Underwood loads.

I checked off OWB but actually carry between my trousers and belt...
That has become the most comfortable for me and easiest to draw from..

Strong side, OWB, 3:30 position. Always the same so I don't need to stop and think, just let training take over when the need arises.

I surprised there is only one person who "Purse Carries". I figured it would be common among women with CCWs.
I only pocket carry being a guy.
But many women's outfits are "pocket challenged" and that doesn't seem to be a viable option for them..
I wonder how most women carry concealed.
Or perhaps there aren't many women who post on this forum or take the survey...

Like Cal 44, I am a guy. I always carry in a Bianchi fanny pack with secret holster ( no longer made, why I don't know ). It is the best way for an off duty LEO to carry everything we need: .45 pistol, 5 extra loaded magazines, handcuffs, badge, 2 flashlights, notepad and pens. It is made of strong nylon. It used to sell for between $ 40 - $ 50. worth every penny. I have really babied mine. I would buy two more for spares in case I live that love that long.

J-frame .38 Special, holstered in right front pocket. Just about every day for twenty years. I have Kydex OWB holster (sorry, Rpg, "outside waist band") but have only used it a few times in fifteen years.
