Hi all,
So I have been using a single clip IWB holster for a while for my shield. I usually tuck my shirts in 80% of the time into my jeans or cargo shorts. Just realized I have been running a standard black clip on a brown gun belt. Few days ago received a dual clip hybrid which is much more comfy. Now I feel with two black clips on brown it really shows. I could switch to J clips but don’t like the fact it rides on lip of pants and May sag down. Am I being paranoid or would it make sense to get a black belt now. Anybody ride black on brown Thx.

I doubt anyone other than you will ever notice.....however, if you feel a black belt would be less noticeable then get one.....

Get a very sturdy belt....if you can fold it in half vertically it is not stiff enough.

I try to carry as discreetly as possible, and if I were in your position, I'd get a black belt. Most people probably wouldn't notice, but I'd be concerned about the possibility of someone with nefarious intent noticing.

I like Beltman belts as they look like dress belts but provide good support for carrying a gun. There are lots of good options out there at different price levels.

Just my opinion.

I guess it's inevitable that the bigger your waistband is the more beltloops you have.

I've found that a change from 5 beltloops to 7 beltloops on a lot of jeans takes place when they go from 34 inches to 35 inches. With the change in the weather where I live I'll wear more shirts tucked in in the winter so I'll switch to the 35's. Naturally, one of the 7 beltloops is right at the 3:30-4:00 position, so, off it goes. ;)

If your method of concealmeant is predicated on other people not noticing you need to change it. People do notice I don't know how many people with the tuckable holsters I haven't noticed but there have been several that I have.

It's also been my experience that the people who are most likely to notice are the very people you don't want to notice.

I remember reading a couple of posts from some idiot who claimed to pick people who he thought were carrying out of a crowd partially based on tells like those clips and give them a ration over it. I don't need drama like that in my life.

On the subject of others noticing: I was talking to a jeweler, when he pointed to my speed strip pouch and asked how I liked the 38 Special? He did blink when I told him, I carried a 45 if I thought there would be a problem!

People notice all the time, the polite ones never say anything!

The people that don’t notice most likely aren’t a concern anyway.

The predators you’re concerned about notice.
