Concealed carry -- having trouble with a Nemesis
I pocket carry a 2-inch J frame in a DeSantis Nemesis holster.
My pants are usually 5.11's.
I don't remember the name of the 5.11 model, but they are more like dockers with a single pocket on each side. Not cargo pants.
Anyway, I often find my gun has turned around with the butt facing forward, or upside down with the grip on the bottom.
These are nice, roomy, deep pockets and that's nice.
But i don't like my gun getting so out of place if I ever need it quickly.
What pocket holster should I consider to replace the Nemesis to fix this problem?
I've looked at cargo pants holsters, but then are too wide. Perhaps something in between.
I don't want to replace all my pants or switch to belt carry, so I'm looking for other ideas or other pocket holsters.

I like the El Paso pocket holster. It is rough-out leather that is pretty thin, but stiff. It has a good shape. I wear the less-tactical 5.11's everyday for work and it does a great job of keeping the 340 upright.

A friend of mine had his wife sew in a piece of velcro in his pockets. The holster has a piece glued to the back. He likes it and says it keeps it from flopping around. I carry too much **** in my pockets. No room for a gun.

This holster has a tab on the bottom that seems as though it is made for a big square shaped pocket. If the pockets are rounded at the bottom a different holster shape may work, but if the pocket is too big there may not be an option that keeps it in place.

I pocket-carry in jeans (Lee), this Azula works really well for me. Always seems to be one on Ebay.

I was recently in a very similar situation as yours. I used a Nemesis as well. I switched over to a Mika pocket holster. Much much better. Robert Mika works with every customer to get you the perfect custom hand made pocket holster. And for not a lot of money too. It’s worth giving him a call.

Mika works really well for me. He has rounded or square bottoms.
Mine has never flip flopped in my pockets yet.

I was a die-hard pocket carry enthusiast until I stuck some Barami clip-grips on my J frame. The Barami lets me clip the gun to the edge of my front pocket. The grip sticks out of my pocket for instant accessibility. But it is very secure. If my shirt can't cover it I just slip the gun down into my pocket, but I don't have to do that very often. I really like it.

I ordered a horsehide Galco pocket holster for my 340PD. Actually it will fit most (or all) other 2" J frames.
It looks a little flatter and wider at the bottom, so I'll give it a try.
Not cheap, though.

When I carry my BG380, it's because I can't belt carry a J frame. I always carry it in a Nemesis, and it has never done what you describe. I also have a Nemesis and a Mica pocket holster for my 642, and they have never done what you describe.
I wear Carhart jeans, traditional fit, tapered leg. The pockets aren't large enough to allow the holster to turn as you describe. I'm not familiar with the pants you wear, but they must have some seriously large pockets!

I can’t imagine it as well. Unless he’s putting them in the thigh cargo pocket. But he did say not cargo pants. I’ve never owned or seen a pair of pants where something the size of a j frame that’s in a Desantis would rotate.

Not cheap, but I bought mine used about 6 years ago and it is still going strong.

Trouble with a Nemesis? You're not in S.T.A.R.S. are you? If so, then you're probably S.O.L. Otherwise, just try to stay out of it's way and it won't hurt you. If you're dead set on facing the Nemesis, then you're going to want to upgrade from a J-Frame to an X-Frame immediately.
References likely nobody here will get aside, I would suggest replacing the pocket holster with an IWB holster. Pocket holsters are good for ultralightweight semiautomatic pistols like the Ruger LCP, but I've learned from experience that attempting to pocket carry heavier, all metal firearms just doesn't work.
You can try using a beefier pocket holster, but at that point you begin to run the risk of printing or at least inviting folks to ask whether you've got something hefty in your pocket or are merely happy to see you. Besides, it's possible that it won't even solve the problem.
If anything, you'd probably be better off buying some new pairs of pants with smaller pockets rather than trying to find a pocket holster to fill in the generous pockets of a pair of 5.11 pants.
Seriously, I wear 5.11s too, and I swear I could pocket carry a 1911 Commander in those cavernous hip pockets, only I know better than to try and just use an IWB holster.

Your suggestions are an example of Resident Evil.
The J frame snubs I usually pocket carry a 340PD (11 oz) and a 431PD (13.3 oz) so not very heavy.
Weight doesn't seem to be the problem. Neither does printing.
I've ordered a larger, leather holster with a flat bottom. I'll see how that works.
I also sometime carry a 649 J frame bodyguard. No dash 38 Special model.
For carrying that one, I may try an IWB holster at some point.
