AS an NRA instructor, I could not help noticing that much of the material offered on the site appears to be copied from other sources, without giving proper credit. I passed on their offer.

I am a member and Tim seems like a very nice guy who knows his stuff.

I have benefitted from his site and the forum too.

Tend to agree with OKFC05, lots of material thats available elsewhere and at no cost. I joined to see what was up with the group and let my membership lapse. Just wasn't worth it when I could get what they offered for free with a few keystrokes!

I did subscribe to the magazine. I passed on joining the org. The magazine isn't bad, but not really great enough to justify the price.(plus it's not monthly, unless the mailman is stealing most of mine)

Also I get bombarded with daily e-mails giveing me 'helpful tips' & offering courses to make me "A fearsome fighting machine" etc.

I was a member once. Costs too much for the benefit. I've learned more from Mas' books and watching Best Defense, Personal Defense TV, American Guardian, etc.

I was a member once. I think it is a very good place to start if you are interested in the basics.
